Conor Kostick is an award-winning Sci-Fi writer based in Dublin. His virtual reality novel, Epic, was an international bestseller and was shortlisted for over a dozen awards, including the the Prix Farniente (Belgium) and the Sakura Medal (Japan). At their 2009 awards, the Reading Association of Ireland gave Conor the Special Merit Award 'in recognition of his significant contribution to writing for children in Ireland.' He was Farmleigh writer-in-residence in 2010. Conor is also well known as a judge of literature (he was President of the Irish Jury for the EU Prize for Literature in 2015) and as a mentor for aspirant authors, via his work for the Irish Writers Centre.
